I am a writer, artist and communications professional of settler descent who loves animals, gardens, food, and being by the ocean. I currently live in Mi’kma’ki and I love fostering community and inclusion through art, storytelling and events. I am a huge fan of farmers markets, cooking, and random conversations with strangers.

For the past eleven years I have worked in the performing arts and for seven years I have worked in communications in dance, theatre, and most recently, publishing. I love beautiful designs and bright colours and the crisp feeling of a new magazine.

I recently returned to the University of Victoria after a fourteen year break; I am a Gender Studies major and I have completed my minor in Applied Ethics. With this degree I hope to learn more about how to dismantle dominant systems of power.

I aim to lead with warmth and openness and I dream of writing a book or starting my own magazine.
